The Author/Editor

Stephen Thrower is an acknowledged world authority on Italian horror movies. He was the editor of Eyeball magazine, all the contents of which were collated into the excellent Eyeball Compendium. He contributes to many journals including Flesh & Blood, Delirium, Ritual, The Redeemer and The Dark Side. He also contributed to the BFI Companion to Horror.

Ich auch - seit heute! Habs gerade durchgeblättert und bin schwerstens begeistert. Das schönste Weihnachtsgeschenk hab ich mir heuer wohl selbst gemacht...

das war ein bissl länger unterwegs und hat noch einen Zwischenstopp machen müssen, daher die Verzögerung! Aber Vorfreude ist bekanntlich die schönste Freude

Das suche ich eigentilch schon seit Jahren, allerdings waren mir die Preise einfach immer viel zu hoch. Was teils für das gebrauchte Hardcover im mittelprächtigen Zustand verlangt wurde ist ja jenseits von Gut und Böse und aktuell ist der Preis bei Amazon.Marketplace wieder über EUR 200,-- Allerdings war ich am 24.12. zur richtigen Zeit am richtigen Ort und hab das stattliche Büchlein zum halbwegs vertretbaren Preis bekommen. Mein kleines Weihnachtswunder sozusagen! Guten Menschen passiert halt Gutes...

wer nicht 400 Euro für die ausverkaufte Erstauflage ausgeben mag, kann sich ja demnächst die überarbeitete Neuauflage gönnen, die von FabPress im Herbst 2015 mit viel mehr Text und noch mehr neuen Bildern veröffentlicht wird.
