Concept-Shorts haben einen Vor- und einen entscheidenden Nachteil. Das gilt fast immer, so auch hier: Sie sind als kurze Geschichte oftmals eher flach aber sie sehen eigentlich immer verdammt gut aus!
ARCHETYPE ist ein Sci-Fi-Short von Aaron Sims. Das er ausreichend Erfahrung als Concept Designer bei Spielbergs Krieg der Welten und jüngst bei Green Lantern, Planet of the Apes und dem The Thing-Remake gesammelt hat, legt er hier überzeugend dar:

netter, sehr gut aussehender Kurzer: FRANKIE RULES, über Frankie, ein Alien-Dings, dass sich wohl zum Ziel gesetzt hat die ganze Galaxy mit entspr. Flaggen als Eigentum zu markieren. Dumm nur, dass Frankie eines Tages an einen Planeten gerät, der das nicht witzig findet

Daniel Kanemoto, der Mann hatte einmal ein sehr beeindruckendes inoffizielles Intro zu THE WALKING DEAD entworfen, hat einen 3D-Rundflug durch alle EVIL DEAD-Filme animiert. Sieht bisweilen sehr gut aus (ich hätte zwar an drei, vier Stellen etwas zu meckern, dass schmälert aber den Gesamteindruck nicht) und ist graphisch recht ansprechend:
