About the book:
Jacinto Molina, better known as Paul Naschy, is without doubt one the all-time-horrormovie-icons. Since the 70s he has influenced the European horromovie and has created characters like Waldemar Daninsky who are still among genre-fan's favourites.
When i started collection his movies on videotape and posters for his movies in the late 80s, early 90s there was only very little information or liturature on the subject available. Nowadays - thanks to the work of Naschy enthusiasts like Mirek Lepinski with his great website http://www.naschy.com, more and more magazines interrested in Paul Naschy his own fabulous book MEMOIRS OF A WOLFMAN and the release of a lot of his movies on DVD - it seems senior Naschy is getting at lease a part of the attention he deserves.
But one thing didn't change over those years - information about the theatrical releases and the posters and lobbycards that have been produced to promote the movies worldwide is still rare. I hope this will change with my little book
The book of course is a non-prodil fan-project and could only be realised because of the help of a lot of dear friends and the fact that I work at an advertisement agency which meant that I was able to use all equipement to "write" the book at no additional costs (except for the printing).
Due to the very limited budget of the whole project I'm very happy that I managed to put all these great posters and lobbycards in a professionally produced book, including 300 pages (more than 20 in color) and I hope reading it is about as much fun for you as it was for me to write it.
The book features:
300 pages, more than 20 in color
more than 140 posters from all over the world
nearly 400 lobbycards
more than 100 admats, press- and campaignbooks, press-stills, etc.
